Challenges & Solutions

Challenge: Role-Based Security in a Regulated Industry

  • Solution: We implemented Auth0 for secure, scalable authentication with granular RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). The system ensures that clients, lawyers, assistants, and admins only access features permitted for their roles by minimizing risk and maintaining compliance across workflows.

Challenge: Escrow and Trust Payment Integration

  • Solution: Legal services often require payment in trust. Bacancy integrated both Stripe Connect and LawPay to support milestone-based payments in escrow, auto-release upon approval, and legal industry compliance. Admins were given limited authority to intervene in disputes if needed.

Challenge: Matching Legal Tasks to the Right Lawyers

  • Solution: Using OpenAI and Google NLP tools, we implemented an AI-enhanced categorization engine that tags each task and intelligently recommends the best-fit professionals based on location, specialization, availability, and past ratings.

Challenge: Streamlining Legal Contract Signing

  • Solution: Our web developers embedded HelloSign API for legally valid digital contract signing between clients and lawyers. Contract templates were auto-generated from task inputs and stored securely on AWS.
