Navigating between products on different platforms to specific pages, with the navigation bar display depending on several conditions and no accompanying test cases to ensure proper functionality.

  • Solution: Removed old, complex, duplicate code and multiple navigation bars. Then, we introduced a central, testable view component that gave a unified navigation bar accessible to all users across all products allowing seamless navigation to any page within any product, also improving the UX.

Making changes to the database or table structure for every event, and dynamically adding fields to events without affecting the database structure.

  • Solution: Included custom columns that can be attached to events or sourcing activities, providing event-based table columns instead of static or fixed fields. This dynamic approach allowed for greater adaptability and customization to meet the unique requirements of different users.
