About the Role Bacancy Technology is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to derive actionable insights from complex healthcare datasets including claims data, clinical records, population health data, and operational metrics. You will build analytics solutions that help health systems improve care quality, reduce costs, optimize operations, and meet regulatory reporting requirements. This role bridges the gap between raw healthcare data and informed decision-making.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Analyze clinical, claims, and operational healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for clinical quality, financial performance, and operational metrics
  • Design and implement quality measurement analytics including HEDIS, CQM, MIPS/APM, and value-based care metrics
  • Develop population health analytics including risk stratification models, care gap identification, and chronic disease cohort analysis
  • Create data pipelines for healthcare data integration from EHR systems, claims databases, HIEs, and public health datasets
  • Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling for readmission risk, patient no-show prediction, and resource utilization forecasting
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across healthcare analytics systems
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for clinical and executive audiences

Skill Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience in healthcare, public health, or health insurance settings
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics language (Python or R)
  • Experience with visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik)
  • Understanding of healthcare data types: claims (837/835), clinical (EHR), pharmacy, lab, and eligibility data
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality measures (HEDIS, CQM, MIPS) and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Experience with healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, NDC)
  • Strong communication skills for presenting data insights to clinical and non-technical audiences

  • Programming SQL (advanced), Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn), R, SAS

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E/MCA
