About the Role Bacancy Technology is hiring a Healthcare Cloud Migration Specialist to lead the migration of healthcare workloads from on-premise data centers to HIPAA-compliant cloud environments. As health systems accelerate their digital transformation, secure and scalable cloud architecture has become a strategic imperative. You will design cloud landing zones, implement data migration strategies, and build infrastructure-as-code frameworks that meet the stringent security and compliance requirements of healthcare organizations.

Roles and Responsibility:

Assess existing on-premise healthcare infrastructure and design comprehensive cloud migration roadmaps with risk analysis
Architect HIPAA-compliant cloud landing zones on AWS, Azure, or GCP with network segmentation, encryption, and access controls
Design and execute data migration strategies for sensitive healthcare data including EHR databases, medical imaging archives, and claims data
Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep for reproducible and auditable cloud deployments
Build high-availability and disaster recovery architectures meeting healthcare uptime requirements (99.99% SLA)
Configure cloud-native security controls including WAF, DDoS protection, VPC design, and encryption key management
Design multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architectures for healthcare organizations with complex regulatory or operational requirements
Lead Business Associate Agreement (BAA) negotiations and compliance documentation with cloud service providers

Skill Requirement:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
5+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare or highly regulated industries
Professional cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Deep understanding of HIPAA requirements for cloud computing and experience implementing compliant architectures
Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi) for enterprise- scale deployments
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, AKS) in production healthcare environments
Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security groups, VPC design, and encryption strategies
Experience leading cloud migrations for organizations with 500+ users and multiple integrated systems
