Flutter Upgrade (Migration to Flutter 3.7+)
- Solution: TasteTech was initially developed using an older version of the Flutter framework, Flutter v2.x, which doesn’t support features like null safety or development for web platforms. So, we upgraded from the older version to a later version of Flutter v3.7+.
Windcave Payment Gateway
- Solution: The client found that the traditional Payment Gateway APIs were not economical. To address this, we implemented a custom solution with Flutter using WebViews and URL redirects to support payment seamlessly on multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, and Web.
Web Support for the Existing Mobile Application
- Solution: The client wanted the TasteTech to be accessible on web platforms. To address this, we updated the existing packages to support the web, handled app UI to support large displays, and handled web URL navigation along with the payment flow changed for web platforms.
Implementation of QR Code flow for Table or Store Order
- Solution: The client wanted an automated order process. We implemented a custom QR solution using Firebase with a dynamic store ID, including deep linking for Android and iOS and handled dynamic navigation by store ID on app startup.
