The COVID 19 pandemic has taken the whole world by storm, and as a consequence, it has shifted the work culture from on-premise to work from home. This move has enabled all of us towards a revolutionary transformation, and work from home is a new normal.
We are seeing a completely new sensory revolution where most things are done virtually, be it schooling, organizational work, Dr. Consultation, and plenty of routine errands’ that we never imagined could be done virtually.
Initially, we considered ourselves lucky that we are associated with the IT industry and got the privilege of work from home. However, when the entire nation was under lockdown, only software engineers were not privileged to spend quality time with their beloved family members.
On the other side of the coin, the employees at Bacancy Technology were so happy because their work efficiency and productivity were tremendously improved. From getting a salary on time to have a sufficient amount of work, each Bacancyer felt a great sense of satisfaction to be a part of such a wonderful organization.
Last Thursday morning, while having a routine discussion with HR, a very normal thing caught my attention that I didn’t find normal at all. Many Bacancyers, from the comfort of their homes, were starting their day early and working till late without realizing that they are putting their mental health at stake. So randomly, I called a few employees just to check up on how they are doing and to make them understand the importance of their mental health.
But then I realized Bacancy is a family of 275 employees, and this message should be conveyed to each Bacancyer equally and in an appropriate way.
We at Bacancy Technology firmly believe that “OUR EMPLOYEES ARE OUR BIGGEST ASSET” and to take care of them we as an organization took the initiative to look after our employees’ mental stress they have been facing while looking after organization.
With the help of Anahata Yoga Studio, we organized a Virtual Yoga Session for our employees along with their families to guide them how to reduce their stress level. We also shared valuable tips to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Where most organizations are focusing on revenues at such a critical time, they miss looking after their employees. At Bacancy Technology, we always make sure that employees are equally progressing along with the organization – explicitly and systematically. It’s equally important to look after the people who help you maintain your balance sheet.
